Kansas City Here We Come!

Wedding1 Hello Friends and Family,

We’ve tried to write this newsletter three times, but each time, as we’ve prayed and sought the heart of God, our plans have changed. God is so good about keeping us on our toes. We finally feel like we have clear direction and our hearts are very excited about the season ahead of us.

We celebrated our one-year anniversary on April 2nd, and we so love being married!

For the last year, we have been running with Lou Engle and many others praying and working with the ministries surrounding us here in the Charlotte area—TheCall, Bound4LIFE, the Justice House of Prayer and Rick Joyner’s MorningStar Ministries. It’s been an honor to work alongside this dedicated community of young people and families alike who have given themselves fully to living a lifestyle of prayer, fasting, and intimacy with Jesus. Our mandate is to dive deep into the heart of the Lord, and, from that place, intercede and mobilize for the ending of abortion and the turning of our nation back to God.

Last fall we were able to purchase a two-bedroom townhouse right around the corner from the ministries we work with.

For the past several months Brandon has been working in the offices of TheCall, which I’m sure many of you have heard about. On July 7, 2007 (07.07.07), tens of thousand from across America will gather in Nashville, TN in Titan Stadium to fast, pray and cry out to God for a massive youth revival and the turning of our nation back to Him. (Check out the enclosed flyer or visit TheCall.com for more information about this gathering.)

After 07.07.07, there will be several regional “TheCall” events across the nation. There are even plans in the works for another larger TheCall gathering in Washington, DC. After the Nashville event, the offices for TheCall will be moving from Fort Mill, SC (where we currently are located) to Kansas City, MO to operate under the leadership of Mike Bickle and the International House of Prayer. Brandon has been offered a paid position in KC to continue his work for TheCall.

We had considered moving to Kansas City to be a part of the House of Prayer after we got married, but it wasn’t the LorIHOP Worshipd’s timing. We always knew, however, that we would one day spend a season in KC. We’re really excited about this move, yet there are so many things that need to take place very quickly before we can leave.

I (Beka) have desired to go to IHOP’s Forerunner Music Academy (FMA) since it first began. I applied and auditioned a couple weeks ago and have been accepted into the school. At some point, I hope to attend FMA full-time. This is the perfect opportunity for Brandon and me to learn and dive deeper into the emotions of God’s heart for us. We know that we will grow so much during this season.

IHOPKCThere is so much that must happen and so little time for it to happen in. We are working on finding someone to rent our house here in Fort Mill, SC. We will also need finances to cover our move out to Kansas City in July (about $1100.00) and to make up for a few weeks during this transition where we will have no income. As for the Forerunner Music Academy, the cost averages about $2400 per semester. We are still praying about the timing for FMA. I (Beka) may find a part-time job somewhere until we can raise the funds for this.

We would like to ask you to pray for us during this transition. The hand of the Lord has been evident in this entire process, but we are still in need of a few big breakthroughs. We’re also asking for you to consider helping us financially with this move and with the music academy. The Lord has given us an amazing opportunity to be on the frontlines of the mobilization of mass prayer and fasting, and we believe that we will see the church and our nation turn back to the Lord.

We love you all and we’re looking forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to contact us at any time. Log on to our website, BrandonAndBeka.com, and sign up for an account so you can participate in our blog!

Be blessed,

Brandon & Beka Fancher
