the ending of abortion…

this quote is my heart from WIlliam Wilberforce. As he felt for slavery, I feel for abortion.

“So enormous, so dreadful, so irremediable did the [slave] trade’s wickedness appear that my own mind was completely made up for abolition. Let the consequences be what they would: I from this time determined that I would never rest until I had effected its abolition.” -William Wilberforce

So….today my husband took me over to Westport, KC where I snapped some sweet pictures and we sweated our butts off. =D

I’m now starting to take my photography seriously… I hope to one day be a professional and the only way to get there is to practice. So today.. was practice. I’ve been learning how to process my raw images…

I also posted a few pictures from my July 4th weekend. My brother and I had a great week together taking pictures and being our crazee selves. i miss him. =*(  We stopped at an old, run-down silo on our way to Joplin July 4th weekend. I’ve always wanted to stop there.

My husband also surprised me last weekend by taking me to a Feist concert at the Starlight Theater here in KC. Leslie Feist is my favorite. The concert was amazing. I took a few pictures… they turned out okay…

Here is a little bit of our night..

Hi friends…

A very good friend of mine who is Pastor in Southern Pines, NC  is in the process of trying to adopt a baby from Jamaica. They just met with the case worker this past week in Jamaica, and there is still a lot that needs to happen. They need a good amount of money to adopt her. She also has some medical issues.

I want to try to raise some money for them. They are doing what we’ve been praying for… its the spirit of adoption. We need to give into this!

If you feel like the Lord wants you to give to them please do it! And if you can’t give them money please pray that the Lord provides exceedingly abundantly.  Pray for favor for them as well…

Isn’t she beautiful?

Thanks friends…
