Going to bed.

It’s almost 1AM and I’m tired. I can’t believe I just spent an entire day doing nothing but playing with this wordpress blog, reading history, and taking my test…and playing with this wordpress blog.

I find myself in a cycle. About once every two or three months, I’ll totally geek out and spend an entire day playing with technology, and that fix usually carries me for another 2 or 3 months.  I’m thankful that I don’t need that fix more often than that. I usually end up learning something valuable, and I find myself applying that knowledge elsewhere on important things. So not all is wasted!

Tomorrow, I have a few things I really need to do.

Oh, I did try to install a new $20 plastic, dual-shower head today on our shower. I can’t forget that. Of course, I didn’t get very far; I couldn’t get the old shower head off.

This is going to need some more modification, but it’s a good start. This is pretty cool–it seamlessly integrates with Beka’s Flickr account, even comments!

I’d really like to keep refining the application of this to our blog, but I have put off for too long the reading I have to finish so that I can take my history test today (which is due by 8pm tonight!)

Later.

I just saw this on DrudgeReport.com

These robots are becoming more and more life-like, and every time I watch another one of these videos, I keep having flashbacks to all of the robot movies like iRobot.

Here’s the video:

Robot violinThis robot can play the violin…perfectly! Toyota says that it “aims to put robots capable of assisting humans into use by the early 2010s.”

Here’s the article on Breitbart.com

Here’s one playing the trumpet…and no, it’s not a recording coming from a speaker:
